The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick offers Christ’s healing grace, strength, and peace to those experiencing serious illness, the difficulties of advanced age, or an upcoming serious medical procedure. Through prayer and anointing by a priest, the Church surrounds those who are suffering with the love and mercy of Christ.
